Teaser to the film about Anatoliy Yunitkiy’s idea

28.08.2017

At the EcoFest 2017, which took place on July 1, 2017 in the territory of EcoTechnoPark in Maryina Gorka, the General Designer of SkyWay technology Anatoliy Yunitskiy addressed the investors’ audience in a quite non-trivial way: with the feature film called “In Fumes”.

The plot of the film tells about a group of people who, due to force majeure circumstances, are forced to flee to the underground shelter from the consequences of anthropogenic disaster. The life support systems of the shelter are beginning to fail. This puts the main characters in front of a difficult choice: to stay in a safe place and live peacefully for several days waiting for death, or to take risks and try to get out and thus be saved. However, what exactly happens on the surface is unknown, since the main characters were left without means of communication with the outside world.

In the plot of the film there is a clear analogy with Anatoliy Yunitskiy’s main idea of saving human civilization by transferring all dangerous and environmentally harmful industry to open space. Like the main characters of the film, the population of the planet Earth is in exactly the same difficult situation of moral choice: to burn the last resources and remnants of oxygen, thereby temporarily prolonging people’s existence, or to reach a new level of development and give to themselves and their descendants a clean and safe future.

Soon the film will be available for viewing in full, but for a while, we offer you a short teaser of the film.

SHIMLA: The first proposed smart city of Himachal Pradesh – Dharamshala – is all set to have a 12km passenger unibus skyway system covering Dharamshala and McLeodganjas the existing roads connecting two towns have been congested. With the ever increasing number of vehicles, there is no scope of widening the roads. To execute this ambitious project, a company from Belarus has been engaged which for last two days is conducting the preliminary study to find the possibility.

Dharamshala besides being the headquarter of Tibetan government-in-exile is also home to the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama due to which it is frequented by large number of foreign tourists and Hollywood actors. Construction of cricket stadium has also brought the town on international map.

The suburbs of Dharamshala include McLeodganj, Bhagsunath, Dharamkot, Naddi, Forsyth Ganj, Kotwali Bazaar, Kacheri Adda, Dari, Ramnagar, Sidhpur, and Sidhbari. Over the years, Dharamshala is facing traffic congestion and parking problem.

Seeing heavy rush of vehicles causing congestion on the roads and resulting into frequent traffic jams, Dharamshala municipal corporation has come out with the proposal to have a skyway project for the hill-town.

In a state where frequent road accidents kill over 1,000 people each year, proposed system is being seen as a safe mode of transportation for residents. Innovative suspended wheeled vehicles would operate above the ground on the innovative rail and string elevated structure, sources said. They said that location of track structure above the ground enhances safety of movement by about 100 times while anti-derailment system increases traffic safety by another 10 times.

Himachal Pradesh urban development minister Sudhir Sharma, who is also MLA from Dharamshala, said skyway is considered as the most cost-effective, environment friendly and safest of all known advanced transport systems. He said that survey of Dharamshala and McLeodganj would be conducted by the company after which a report would be prepared after which cost of the project would be worked out. “We are expecting that report would be prepared by February after which work would be started on the first skyway project of Himachal Pradesh,” he added.

The organizers of the International specialized transport exhibition InnoTrans confirmed registration of the application from SkyWay design Company to participate in the next Berlin forum of innovations. It is scheduled for September 2018, when advanced developments in the field of transport collected from around the world will be presented in the capital of Germany.

InnoTrans is one of the most significant events for this industry, a perfect platform for professional and business interaction, establishing necessary contacts and starting new projects.

The exhibition is held once in two years.

SkyWay participation in the last year’s event has already paid for itself sparking interest to Yunitskiy’s string transport from representatives of India, the Philippines and several other countries that are held in confidence so far.

Throughout the time of InnoTrans 2016 the SkyWay exposition was among the most visited.

Taking into account the pace of the technology development, the next forum will be undoubtedly even more rewarding. If the first SkyWay display was an opportunity to assert itself on a global level, the second one promises to be a real triumph!
