On 2 July just after EcoFest 2017, there will be held a special event for our investors: SkyWay CAPITAL Partneship Conference

where our partners and leaders of structures will be able to discuss all the questions they are interested in, get to know the latest news and just have a great time in the circle of like-minded people!

The venue is at the address:Hotel BEIJING, 36 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street, Minsk, Belarus

The conference consists of three blocks: the roundtable meeting of the leaders, a general conference with the awards ceremony of investors and a private gala banquet.

  • 18.00 – 20.00 MSK. The private gala banquet for the SkyWay Capital outstanding investors (who fulfilled the conditions of the participation program)

A Look at SkyWay in a Decade And a Half

On 21 April 2017, the day of the SkyWay unibus’ first test run, the demonstration center received a visit from one of the key players in the history of string transport.

Dmitriy Vladimirovich Teryokhin – one of the first large investors who believed in the promise of Yunitskiy’s technology. He was the one who provided financing for the construction of the test site in Ozyory, where the first generation of string transport was realized in 2001. The amount invested by Mr. Teryokhin was then $ 1.5 million. An additional $ 300,000 was invested by General Alexander Lebed from his Governor’s Fund.

The cooperation between Yunitskiy and Teryokhin was interrupted for several reasons. The former partners had no contact for 15 years. Dmitriy Vladimirovich showed no interest in the fate of the technology and was not aware of the results achieved by its author. Thus, when Anatoliy Yunitskiy phoned Mr. Teryokhin and invited him to visit Minsk to get acquainted with the current stage of the string transport development, it came as a surprise to the businessman.

Dimitriy Vladimirovich comments on his visit to the SkyWay demonstration center: “What I witnessed today felt like time travel, like a dream… I feel as if it were only yesterday when  we came to a parting of the ways, and then basically everything was merely on paper – the project solutions were drafts, at the idea level. Today, an essential or even the main part, is already implemented. This is certainly very important, to put it mildly.”

According to Anatoliy Yunitskiy, he has not forgotten the support that Dimitriy Teryokhin provided him and his country during the difficult times. “I am grateful to this person […] – says the SkyWay string transport General Designer. – That, what was accomplished thanks to Dimitriy Vladimirovich and his money, has not been lost. I gained knowledge and experiences, which I carried further. If there had not been the Ozyory’s first generation’s knowledge and experiences, there would not be a fourth generation – what we are witnessing now.”

The former partners’ meeting was not only succinct, but also truly heartwarming. Mr Teryokhin was impressed by what he saw and expressed his confidence that there is very little time left until the SkyWay string transport will be universally used for passenger and cargo transportation. “The system itself has obtained new qualities: information, freight logistics and in general philosophy of life,” Mr Teryokhin stated in his interview to the SkyWay news service. “I believe in it and will continue to do whatever I can to help… again.”

Anatoliy Yunitskiy, in turn, announced his intention to perpetuate Dmitry Vladimirovich’s contribution to the string transport development in the alley of Honorary investors of SkyWay. It will be established in the EcoTechnoPark in the upcoming summer.

 

EcoTechnoPark – Footage from Construction Site

The footage filmed by our information service gives an idea of what is happening on the territory of EcoTechnoPark site at present. Work goes on in all directions. Contractors continue building two urban tracks, cargo and high-speed lines, as well as infrastructure objects of the demonstration and certification center.

In anticipation of the festival and public presentation of SkyWay transportation solutions scheduled for July 1, improvements of the territory are in process.

Continuing work with customers and suppliers of equipment, components, assemblies and units to create an experimental-industrial and production bases − “EcoTechnoPark” (Marina Gorka) and “Unibus” (Mogilev) – with three test sections of SW-systems (cargo, urban and high-speed).
Continuing works on creation of experimental-industrial and production bases of the holding company and execution of the corresponding construction and assembly works. Continuation of construction and assembly works on creation of test complexes and production bases.
Continuing works on creation of scientific, testing, technological and operating equipment required for experimental industrial testing, certification, construction.
Continuing working with customers from all over the world on target projects of cargo, urban and high-speed international SW-systems with the purpose of concluding preliminary contracts and receiving pre-orders and advance payments for these orders.

Continuing work on project documentation for the last test complex of the fourth generation − highspeed – on a “turnkey” basis: the corresponding rail-string overpass, rolling stock and infrastructure, including an automated system of safety, control, energy supply and communications. Staff increase in SkyWay Technologies Co. up to 200 designers with the corresponding increase of service personnel.
